The maker’s 42mm, low-torque ceramic cartridges feature stainless-steel-reinforced plate and high-grade ceramic disc for longer lifespan, as well as a durable, adjustable wear-resistant ring for better safety. The cartridge has three independent inlet seals to prevent water leakage, and also has inlet check valves, one each for hot and cold water, to prevent backflow and cross-flow, thus safely keeping users from being scalded due to water temperatures fully complying with safety standards in Australia, the USA, the UK, and New Zealand.
The ceramic cartridges use uni-block plastic injection parts for consistent quality, and are assembled via automation for standardization. Each item has to pass stringent quality control and pre-shipment tests to assure zero defect, including tests for air-pressure leakage, cycle, breaking, high temperature, high pressure, and intermittent impact.
