Established in 1987, Chao Yuan Industrial Co. today is an ISO 9001- and TS16949-certified manufacturer dedicated to producing high-precision stamping parts for a wide range of applications.
Its precision-stamping manufacturing capability has helped the firm to become a key supplier of precision parts to several major international shock-absorber brands such as KYB, Showa, and Tokico. It is also a leading supplier of key parts to all major all terrain vehicle (ATV), automobile, and motorcycle shock-absorber makers in Taiwan.
To meet strong demand from big customers in China, Chao Yuan set up a Chinese subsidiary, the Chao Yuan Automobile Hardware Accessories Co., in Shanghai in 1997. Its well-structured division-of-labor manufacturing scheme that spans the Taiwan Strait strengthens the company’s global competitiveness.
In 2000 Chao Yuan decided to cooperate with a technical partner in setting up another overseas subsidiary, Chao Yuan Industrial SDN. BHD, in Malaysia, for the purpose of developing the lucrative auto-parts business in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) market.
Rapidly increasing demand from customers worldwide drove Chao Yuan to carry out a capacity-expansion project at its factory in Tainan, southern Taiwan, in 2011.
With the rich store of experience and know-how it has accumulated in the stamping line, Chao Yuan is aggressively diversifying its product applications and further developing its presence in target markets.
Looking to the future, the company will continue pursuing the production of high-quality products, the continuous improvement of its technology-development capacity, and the march toward internationalization.
Chao Yuan has so far expanded its product line to include transmission gearbox parts, engine pats, automatic clutch parts, and automotive lighting products, among other items.
