Fortuna Auto Industry Inc., a leading supplier of racing/upscale side-view mirrors in Taiwan, this year has taken another ambitious step to move upmarket further by developing a high-level upscale side mirror model, the RX2.
The company claims that the stylish design of the new side-mirror model was inspired by different new-car models unveiled by international automakers. The original design concepts were sophisticatedly sorted and mapped out by Fortuna Auto into the RX-series mirrors.
The RX1 and RX2 upscale mirrors can be directly installed on the popular Honda Fit sub-compact car (2009~), or it can be indirectly installed onto hundreds of car models by fixing to an F-Mirror/KDC K-style mirror base. Fortuna Auto is very confident of the new series upscale mirrors because every new KDC-branded mirror model developed has always triggered hottest market responses.
Established in 1994, Fortuna Auto several years ago was Taiwan's largest exporter of racing side-mirrors backed by the company's considerable design and innovative capability. It supplies dozens of mirror models, which can be installed with the company's globally patented universal base to fit hundreds of popular cars, light-trucks, and minivans. It has also been supplying custom-designed mirrors for customers worldwide, available in assorted style and finishes. Fortuna Auto has also been actively developing newer and better mirrors by taking cues from top-end luxury cars, such as Mercedes, by integrating light-emitting diode (LED) turn-signals.
While trying to enhancing competitiveness by streamlining production to improve quality and yet reduce cost, Fortuna Auto continues to rely on side-view mirrors as its core business, with the newly developed Bluetooth rear-view mirror helping to diversify its product line.
