The Brooklands Enterprise Co. started business in 1995 with a work force of only two persons and has since grown into a 15-employee enterprise specializing in making and selling hand drum pumps. To expand its product line and meet growing demand, the company recently invested in a complete line of equipment for producing plastic hoses and corrugated piping.
The firm offers upscale, competitively-priced hand drum pumps made of a wide range of plastics and metals that have outstanding resistance to acids, alkalis, and chemicals. The pumps are designed to meet the needs of the auto repair, chemical, hardware, and hand tool industries.
General manager Jade Hsiao said that to ensure quality, Brooklands makes its hand drum pumps, plastic hoses, and corrugated piping in-house, using parts that are partly supplied by subcontractors. Its plastic hoses and piping, used as key parts by various industries, can be custom-made on an OEM and ODM basis.
Brooklands currently exports its products mainly to Europe and North America, but plans to bring the benefits of its quality products, on-time delivery, and stable prices to other parts of the world as well.
