Manford Machinery Co. was founded in 1987 by its president, James Hsieh, to focus on the development, production, and sale of milling machines, and other high-precision machines.
The company’s R&D center concentrates on developing high-precision, high-speed, high-feeding-rate, large-scale (two-meter machining centers), composite (five-axis machining centers), and simple-to-operate (i-console intelligent man/machine interface) machines. Aside from making its own-brand products, Manford also excels in OEM-ODM (original equipment/design manufacturer) cooperation with its customers.
The Manford catalog includes full series of CNC machining centers, CNC milling machines, conventional mills, and drilling & tapping machines. One of its major products is a horizontal CNC machining center, with monthly shipments reaching 50 units. The company is also capable of shipping 100 conventional milling machines per month.
The company recently built a new factory in the Nangang Industrial Park in the central Taiwan county of Nantou. The plant, which occupies a 23,500-square-meter plot of land, concentrates on the development of a full range of precision machine tools.
About 90% of Manford’s products are currently exported to major markets, such as Eastern Europe, the United States, and Southeast Asia. Customers, which include such prominent brands as NCT, MMTG, and RAIS, come from the aeronautics, transportation, automobile, medicine, footwear, high-tech electronics, and other industries.
