Three-in-One Strategy to Connect with Global Buyers
To accelerate the international expansion of Tainan’s premium industrial supply chain, the Tainan City Government has commissioned the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) to execute the 2025 Tainan Global Trade Expansion Program. From September 17 to 20, 2025, ITRI will lead eight local enterprises to participate in the Vietnam International Plastics & Rubber Industry Exhibition (VietnamPlas) at the Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC), Booth A130 in Ho Chi Minh City.
This initiative adopts a “Exhibition + Business Matchmaking + Industrial Visits” three-in-one strategy, not only showcasing the innovation capacity of Tainan industries but also creating the most direct platform to connect with international buyers through tailored matchmaking sessions and on-site company visits.
ITRI emphasized that Vietnam has become one of the fastest-growing manufacturing markets in ASEAN, with surging demand for plastics and rubber. The exhibition will allow Tainan enterprises to meet global buyers face-to-face, while one-on-one business matchmaking sessions and visits to leading local corporations will open doors for in-depth cooperation.
The participating enterprises span diverse fields, including plastics, rubber, recycling, and smart energy solutions, reflecting the innovative strength of Tainan industries. CTM specializes in automatic voltage regulators and uninterruptible power supply systems to ensure stable factory operations; BoRotech leverages PET bottle recycling technology to produce high-quality recycled pellets, advancing the circular economy; Yong Jyu Sin Plastic supplies recycled plastic pellets that comply with international environmental standards, actively promoting ESG practices; Hong Yao focuses on plastic compounding, converting waste into reusable plastic materials; NAN YUN manufactures high-performance screws and barrels for injection and extrusion machines, providing essential components for plastic processing; CHIMOCO produces diversified colored cotton and nonwoven fabrics, widely applied in textiles and industrial materials; Jin-Energy delivers smart energy-saving and industrial IoT solutions to help enterprises reduce energy consumption and enhance efficiency; and Jyh Shinn Plastics, an internationally certified cable tie manufacturer, provides products broadly used in automotive, electronics, and industrial wiring applications.
ITRI stressed that this VietnamPlas exhibition is not only a vital stepping stone for Tainan enterprises entering global markets but also the best opportunity for international buyers to engage directly with potential partners. ITRI sincerely invites global buyers, Vietnamese enterprises, and industry professionals to visit Booth A130 at SECC, join the exchange, and collaborate to explore new business opportunities and create a prosperous future together.
