For over 40 years Vespark Industrial Co. has specialized in the production of aftermarket glow plugs for diesel cars, trucks, buses and industrial engines. The company offers several hundred models made at its ISO9001-certified plants, mainly for Japanese but also some American and European makes and models.
Founded in 1972, Vespark has grown into a leading supplier of glow plugs for diesel engines in Taiwan, claiming its quality plugs can provide faster heating and more reliable starting even in low temperatures.
Offering complete selections for Daihatsu, Hino, Isuzu, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Toyota and Mazda, Vespark adds about 20 to 30 new plug models to its line each year, and capably fills small-batch orders for special items.
The company closely cooperates with about 30 contractors in central Taiwan in addition to handling key processing tasks in-house. The company was also a long-term technical partner with and supplier to Bosch as the sole supplier to the German brand in Southeast Asia since 1992, giving it access to key techniques for producing top-quality glow plugs with original equipment (OE) standards.
Vespark develops and manufactures all four types of glow plug for diesel engines, including the standard type that heat to 800 degrees after 15-30 seconds; quick type--800 degrees after 15-20 seconds; OGS type--900 degrees after about 10 seconds; and the latest, the super-quick type--950 degrees after 3 to 6 seconds. To assure the best performance and durability, Vespark uses only high-quality coil and heater-tube parts imported from the U.S., Japan, and Europe.
